Thank you to all who joined us at Grandparents for Gun Safety’s 12th Annual Forum Faith & Firearms: Turning Faith Into Action. We are thrilled that about 400 attendees heard a great message from keynote speaker pastor John Pavlovitz (read transcript here), learned lessons about turning faith into action from a panel of local faith leaders, and helped us honor Wyandotte County Health Department and Nancy Shawver for their work as GGS partners advocating for safer communities.
There is still so much work to do to reduce gun violence in the Kansas City area. We invite you to continue to the support and action through your donations, as a member, as a volunteer and attendance at GGS meetings.
