From start to finish, the success of GGS initiatives has depended on volunteers.
Think what GGS could never have undertaken without dedicated volunteers:
- Some 6,300 free gun locks would still be in their boxes rather than in the
hands of gun owners who needed them. - Its monthly programs delving into the root causes of gun violence and its
aftermath would have gone unspoken. - Eleven Community Forums on gun safety bringing together nationally-
recognized speakers with diverse insights would not have been held. - Regular e-newsletters highlighting relevant issues in the gun violence
prevention movement would have gone unwritten.
