Judy Sherry and Maribeth Brennaman (shown in the lower right corner) attended the community vigil organized by KC Common Good following the Valentine’s Day mass shooting at the Chiefs Super Bowl rally. This photo gained widespread media attention, appearing in the Kansas City Star and on local TV news channels. On a national level, the photo appeared in the Feb. 17 edition of the New York Times, on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt and on NBC’s Today.
